There can be many reasons why we do not have all the information to hand. The images come from Wikipedia but sadly not every book is listed and not ever listing has an image. We fall back on the author page where the same issues apply.

Information for each book comes from our content providers which we then interpret. Sometimes we mess up when reformating the data and sometimes the information is simply missing. We are working hard to fix these problems but occasionally you will see -unknown- authors etc.

Please feel free to contact us with any suggestions about the site by using the email address on the Contact page or by submitting Feedback.

We would be happy to index your audio books or eBooks. The best way is to create an RSS feed and send us a link to it. This way we can update our site with your latest material.

Each item in the RSS file should at least have a title and sample so the the content can be found by our search. Also you may wish to include some branding information.

Librophile.com (beta) offers a simple interface for finding audio books and eBooks. Free audio books are mostly provided by the public domain from Librivox.org and pay books by the Audible.com affiliate program. EBooks are predominantly sourced from the extensive Gutenberg library. Other sources include Storynory for childrens' books.

Our ultimate aim is to provide a one stop shop of all the audio and electronic books out there. Using free tools such as jQuery and jQuery.TOOLS, Librophile offers a simple interface based around scrolling through books in the various archives. You can browse the latest books, search by keywords or choose more broadly by genre. You can often listen to chapters online, download a whole book, play a sample or subscribe using iTunes.

Phase two of the project is to include a rewrite and to extend the site to encompass a greater range of books from other sources. Before that we need to skin the project, impove accessibility and add a ratings and members mechanism.
